Brian served in the United States Navy, flying aboard the P-3 Orion and logging more than 3,000 flight hours on missions that spanned the globe.

Service runs deep in the Vinci family. After immigrating from Sicily in the early 20th century, they answered the call across generations — Brian's grandfather, his father, and his father's twin brother all wore the uniform.
Brian carried it forward in the U.S. Navy. Today his oldest daughter serves in the Navy as well — the latest in a line of service stretching back more than a century.

After his military service, Brian served in the U.S. intelligence community as Director of the Situation Room during the height of the war in Afghanistan — operating at the center of high-stakes, time-sensitive wartime decision-making where minutes mattered and the cost of getting it wrong was measured in lives.
He designed software and methodology to link situation rooms together across government, connecting the people and the information that critical decisions depend on.
From methodology to a company.
Brian turned that methodology into a company — building it from the ground up using lean startup principles, and going on to coach businesses for an intelligence-community venture capital firm.
