Pinnacle Baseline Assessment
WHICH LEVER IS YOURS?
Most owners know something needs to change. Far fewer can name which thing, which is why effort gets spread evenly across five problems instead of aimed at the one that matters. Twenty questions about how your company actually runs will tell you which one is yours.
- 20 questions
- About 5 minutes
- No cost
- No call required
WHAT IT LOOKS AT
Five principles. Four questions each. They are deliberately blunt — the assessment is not trying to flatter you.
People
Whether the right people are in the right seats — and whether they know what great actually looks like.
Purpose
Whether the vision is clear enough that someone on your team could repeat it back to you.
Playbooks
Whether your core processes exist anywhere outside your own head.
Performance
Whether anyone in the company can tell whether this week went well.
Profit
Whether profit is something you plan for, or something left over at the end.
WHAT YOU GET BACK
A prepared report, not a number on a screen. It arrives as a PDF with your name on it, and a copy comes to me at the same time — so if we do end up talking, neither of us is starting from scratch.
- An overall score, and a separate score for each of the five principles
- Which principles read weak, satisfactory, or strong — and by how much
- Three specific recommendations under each principle
- The Pinnacle tools that address each one
- Every answer you gave, so you can see exactly what drove the score
WHAT IT WON'T DO
IT WON'T AUDIT YOU
Every answer is your own. That makes this a mirror rather than an audit — it puts what you already suspect into an order you can act on. Rate yourself generously and it will agree with you, which is its own kind of useful information.
IT WON'T FIX ANYTHING
Five minutes buys you a diagnosis, not a cure. It will tell you where you are weakest and what that weakness is likely costing you. Doing something about it is a longer conversation.
IT ISN'T A CALL IN DISGUISE
Take it, read the report, and do nothing at all. Plenty of owners do, and the report is still worth the five minutes. If you want to talk afterwards, you know where to find me.
FIVE MINUTES. THEN YOU'LL KNOW.
The assessment is hosted by Pinnacle Business Guides, whose instrument it is. Your report is prepared and delivered by Apogee Leadership.
